Review Of Summer 2019 At Air Quality Engineering – canfill

We’ve had an eventful summer filled with delicious food and countless laughs. This year, we celebrated work anniversaries, a retirement, and Industrial Safety Month. We’ve outlined them all in our summer recap.

40 Year Anniversary

At Air Quality Engineering, we recognize our employees’ hard work and dedication. Sandy Johnson, who works in our Industrial Wiring Department, has been with us for 40 years. We celebrated her service with refreshments, and our owner, Heidi Oas, attended to congratulate and thank her.

Ed’s Retirement Party

Ed Semrud, our Controller in Accounting and Finance, retired this past June. To honor his four years of service, we held a special event in our production area, complete with cake and comments by President and CEO, Heidi Oas. In his retirement, Ed plans to keep busy with his hobbies, riding his four horses and working with nonprofits.

Industrial Safety Month

June is National Safety Month, a time to focus on reducing workplace injuries. This year, the topics were hazard recognition, slips, trips and falls, fatigue, and impairment. At Air Quality Engineering, we are constantly striving to improve processes to ensure efficient operation and employee safety. We gathered for a delicious BBQ and poster board contest to raise awareness of safe practices. Pat Goralczyk and Ed Semrud, our designated BBQ chefs, had fun grilling burgers and brats, which were served along with chips, beans, watermelon, and desert.

Participants in our contest created a poster board illustrating, “Why I Work Safe.” Mindy Moore won first place for her MistBuster® Production Line poster, and Linden Teage won second place for his Industrial Line poster board. Congratulations to both of our winners and thank you to all who participated!

At Air Quality Engineering, we foster a welcoming and safe workplace environment. We are constantly striving to improve operations and celebrate our employees who are the heart of our company. That’s how we continually provide air quality solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations.

Our people work hard to understand your concerns and goals. Together, we provide innovative products backed by responsive communication, efficient processes, and integrity-driven leadership. If that sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, check out our job opportunities on our careers page.

Summer 2019 was one for the books, and we look forward to many more milestones in the future.
